Files and Pictures
You can easily upload files and photos to Prestartr using either the website interface or the dedicated mobile app.
Both platforms support a streamlined process for attaching documents and images to your work orders, jobs, or other relevant records, making it simple to keep all necessary information in one place, whether you're at your desk or on the go.

Files, Photos, and Attachments
You can upload any combination of files to the following areas of Prestartr:
- Companies, Defects, Forms, Jobs, Articles, People, Plant, Work Orders
- Invoices, Quotes, Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions
Common File Types
- TXT - RTF - DOC - DOCX - ODT - XPS - XML
- CSV - XLS - XLSX
- PDF - PPT - DXF
Common Photo and Video Types
- JPEG, PNG, GIF
- TIFF, BMP, WEBP
- SVG, EPS
- MKV, FLV, MP4
Create New
Using the Create New button, when viewing a Job, Company, Defect, Work Order, or Plant, you can upload a File or Picture.
From the File or Picture menu, you can then upload your files as needed.
Select File
When editing a Defect, Plant, Invoice, Quote, Purchase Order, Purchase Requisition, the Files section will have a button to Select Files.
This will open the file management system of your computer - select the relevant file and click Open.
Create Linked File
In the Knowledge Base, when editing an Article, you can create a Linked File.
This will open the file management system of your computer - select the relevant file and click Open.

Uploading Files in the Mobile App
The mobile app is being constantly updated with features to match the web experience.
Currently, you can upload files and photos in the following areas:
- Jobs
- Forms
- Companies
- Defects
- Plant
- Work Orders
Upload Files in the App
In the mobile app, you can add files and photos from the + Add button, the Upload field and the Select File link,

When adding something new in the app, certain modules will display an Upload Forms | Files | Images section.
Tapping the upload prompt will open the Upload File area.
After selecting and uploading your desired files, simply tap Upload to return to the Add or Create screen you were working on.
