The Work Order Dashboard Explained
The Dashboard is a quick-view area of all your current Work Orders in Prestartr.
It will display totals for common financial areas such as the total costing of things like Parts and Labour, as well as other totals such as the labour Hours and Total Invoiced.

The Work Order list will display all Work Orders that have been created both past and present. The columns of the forms list is changeable - if your list doesn't look the same as the example, check the Column Selector.
Sorting of the columns is done by clicking on the arrow next to the column name.

Top Navigation Items

Work Order Statuses

From this section you can Edit the statuses used on Work Orders by clicking the Pencil edit icon.
To Delete a status, click the X icon to the right of the status.
Work Order Task Statuses

From this section you can Edit the statuses used on Work Order Tasks by clicking the Pencil edit icon.
To Delete a status, click the X icon to the right of the status.
Edit, Duplicate, Delete and Invoicing Work Orders
Edit or Delete a Work Order

To edit or delete a Work Order, from the Work Order List, click either the Pencil or the Rubbish icon under the Actions area.
Duplicate a Work Order

To duplicate a Work Order, click the Duplicate icon to the left of the edit Pencil while viewing the Work Order you want to duplicate.
Invoice a Work Order
Invoice a Work Order
To create an invoice from a Work Order in Prestartr, access the Work and navigate to the Transactions tab.


From the Transactions tab, click Create New Invoice in the top right.

Now, select the Material, Labour, or Purchase Orders you want to invoice - ensuring the items are not already Invoiced.

With the Items selected, click Generate Invoice in the top right.

The Generate Invoice window will display, from here you can choose the Invoice Method, the Issue Date for the Invoice, and if it is a Finalised or Progressive invoice.
Click Generate to create the invoice.

The invoice will appear in the Invoices section, where it can be edited, approved, or printed as needed.

When exporting your current Work Order list as a Report, it will generate a CSV file with the following columns:
- System Generated ID
- Summary
- Description
- Work Order Type
- Work Order Status
- Company
- Contact Person
- Assignees
- Plants

- Estimated Duration
- Start Date
- Due Date
- Scheduled Date
- Priority
- Total Parts Cost
- Total Labour Hours
- Total Labour Cost
- Average Product Markup

- Total Invoiced

- Percentage Profit Margin
Export as a Backup
When exporting your current Work Order list as a backup, it features the same fields as a Report, but only represents the selected Work Orders from the list.
Export as a Sample
The Export Sample is the template used for performing an Import of Work Orders.
See Add a New Work Order for more details on this.
Export Work Order Timelogs and Transaction Data
Export Timelogs

Click Export Work Order Timelogs to open the date and Work Order selection window.
Select the Start and End Dates as well as the specific Work Orders required.
Click Export to export your desired Timelogs.
Export Transaction Data
The Transaction Data export includes all information from the Transaction tab of each Work Order.
This includes the following:
- Quote data
- Cost Estimate data
- Invoice data
- Purchase Order data
- Time data
- Material data
